फरीदाबाद के ओल्ड फरीदाबाद क्षेत्र में सरकारी राशन की दुकान से गेहूं के कट्टे चोरी करने के मामले में पुलिस ने दो आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया है। थाना ओल्ड फरीदाबाद की टीम ने कार्रवाई करते हुए दोनों आरोपियों को बसेलवा कॉलोनी इलाके से काबू किया। पुलिस के अनुसार शुरुआती जांच में सामने आया है कि आरोपी नशे की लत के शिकार हैं और नशे की जरूरत पूरी करने के लिए उन्होंने चोरी की वारदात को अंजाम दिया।

फिलहाल पुलिस आरोपियों से पूछताछ कर रही है और मामले में आगे की जांच जारी है।

राशन दुकान का ताला टूटा मिला

पुलिस प्रवक्ता के अनुसार बसेलवा कॉलोनी, ओल्ड फरीदाबाद निवासी कैलाश ने शिकायत दर्ज करवाई थी कि उसकी इलाके में सरकारी राशन की दुकान है। शिकायतकर्ता ने बताया कि 8 मई को दुकान में करीब 180 गेहूं के कट्टे रखवाए गए थे।

उन्होंने बताया कि 17 मई को उनका भांजा लोकेश राशन की दुकान पर पहुंचा तो दुकान का ताला टूटा हुआ मिला। अंदर जाकर जांच करने पर पता चला कि 60 गेहूं के कट्टे गायब थे। इसके बाद तुरंत पुलिस को सूचना दी गई।

मामला दर्ज कर जांच में जुटी पुलिस

शिकायत मिलने के बाद थाना ओल्ड फरीदाबाद पुलिस ने संबंधित धाराओं के तहत मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू की। पुलिस टीम ने आसपास के लोगों से पूछताछ और स्थानीय स्तर पर जानकारी जुटाने के बाद दो संदिग्धों को हिरासत में लिया।

गिरफ्तार आरोपियों की पहचान अरुण और राहुल सिसोदिया निवासी बसेलवा कॉलोनी, ओल्ड फरीदाबाद के रूप में हुई है।

पूछताछ में सामने आई यह बात

पुलिस अधिकारियों के अनुसार पूछताछ के दौरान आरोपियों ने चोरी की वारदात कबूल कर ली। जांच में सामने आया कि दोनों आरोपी नशा करने के आदी हैं और पैसों की जरूरत पूरी करने के लिए उन्होंने राशन की दुकान को निशाना बनाया।

पुलिस के मुताबिक आरोपियों ने 16 और 17 मई की रात राशन की दुकान का ताला तोड़ा और गेहूं के कट्टों को सिर पर उठाकर वहां से चोरी कर ले गए। पुलिस अब यह पता लगाने का प्रयास कर रही है कि चोरी किए गए गेहूं को कहां बेचा गया।

आरोपी पुलिस रिमांड पर

पुलिस ने दोनों आरोपियों को अदालत में पेश किया, जहां से उन्हें एक दिन के पुलिस रिमांड पर भेजा गया है। जांच अधिकारी अब चोरी के गेहूं की बरामदगी और मामले से जुड़े अन्य पहलुओं की जांच कर रहे हैं।

स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि इलाके में चोरी की घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए रात के समय पुलिस गश्त बढ़ाई जानी चाहिए। वहीं पुलिस का कहना है कि क्षेत्र में कानून व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के लिए लगातार कार्रवाई की जा रही है।
